Gas Tank Side Mounting Brackets

I'm new here so hello all! I recently got an 84 K10 with a 3 inch body lift. I noticed the side mounting brackets on my gas tank were rotting (I was surprised the tank hadn't fallen off yet lol) but anyways, for some reason these mounting brackets are very hard to find in salvage yards anywhwere in my area. Do you guys know of any site I can order them both for relatively cheap? Or is there something I could maybe rig up? Thanks!

I need the actaul bracket that bolts to the frame.

Hmmm i dont know of anybody repoping them in new form prolly gonna have to find somebody either parting out a sqaure or get them out of a salvage yard. You can use the ones from either side of a truck from either the 16 or 20 gallon tank.

A Salvage Yard by me has a truck thats an 88-00 Chevy with the tank and mounting brackets. Does anyone know if they would be able to fit with my 84?

88-91 one ton yes if its a half ton then the tanks are between the fram rails and not mounted at all like the sqaures

The truck had it mounted on the driver side which was the same as mine. And I have not thought about any sort of mods for this truck as I do not have a large disposable income lol

Does anyone know if I can use 2 rear support brackets or do they have to be 1 front and 1 rear?

I think the front is shorter.

the 88 and up trucks are completey different, I know they are on the same side, I have an 88 and my old man has an 84, but mines inside the frame and his is outside.

I went to classic parts and got those L brackets for 40 each. Front and rear. I sure hope these are the ones I can use and not the 80 a piece ones.
