Before and after pics of jans Van roof, Jan did a lot of the sanding herself and then I sprayed the raptor liner on there. She helped with the masking too. What a girl.

Yes HotRod. We’re just going to use one battery and see how that works. We can purchase another one down the road, but they’re very expensive. We will use a DC DC converter to lower. The voltage. Will probably put a small inverter in there as we need that for a short power when we want to charge the battery.
For a van, I think you'll be just fine with that 1 battery. Being a 48 volt, even at 105ah, that equates to plenty of watt hours and that's what matters is the watt hours.

Currently, I'm now running 8038 watt hours and over paneling with 1140 watts of panel since we don't get near the sun in the winter time due to angle etc. So at 12 volt I'm limited to like 720 watts and bring in a little over that for a couple hours a day and that quickly tops my batteries off. Now in the summer, I won't over panel like that cuz it can do damage but the 1140 would bringing in close to 1140 for 4 or 5 hours a day. But the intent is change these 2 12V batteries to series and then it'll be 24Volt at 314an sintead of 12volt at 628ah. Same Watt hours, but at 24 volt, I can bring in 1440 watts instead of 720 and I'll be adding a 4th panel for 1520 watts so over paneled just a bit at 80watts and that won't hurt anything. So I should have plenty and be able to go 2-3 days with no sunlight.

So Jan (evil step mother), cohoused my eldest daughter Leah, (evil step daughter), to help her install new window channel and wipers on the front doors. It took them ,me, about three hours, and was surprisingly straight forward. In the third picture, you can see her video on her new radio and she has a back up camera. That’s pretty impressive. We were also able to purchase three 405 W solar panels so now I gotta get busy but we’ve both been down with the flu for about a week so maybe next week

Today Jan took the van in to my cousin to get the Cardon steering box installed, new hoses, and to get the oil pressure gauge working, be done tomorrow. Next up is the unistrut roof rack. Jan and I have both been really sick, ( ivermectin has helped) but are much better, and I am antsy to get the solar, A/C and fridge installed. Hope to get mtl's this week to begin the rack.

Now you just need an airbrushed mural on the side, side pipes, trick wheels, lift shackles in the rear, bubble window and a Sammy Johns 8-track tape.

Ideally I'd have two G-vans. One along the lines of this:

I'll find out I think Jan still has a can.
I'd find that out. Also find out if adhesion promoter and all that good stuff was used first. Most have found painting these interior plastic parts don't look good for long. The paint ends up getting rubbed or worn off pretty quick. Now if you use the correct methods as far as prep, and then use the proper pre treat products, they tend to look good for a very long time. Technique and Product are important for these type of parts.

It should have turned out just fine then. :waytogo:
It is really stuck on their good. We moved the bed in and had plywood up against it jerking it around. It didn’t even make a mark works great.

Poor K20 languishes while I work on Jan’s van. We have driven it to Idaho a few times and the steering is horrible. Replaced the steering box because it was leaking. It helped a little so now I replaced all the suspension on the front end and it goes down the road excellent. I just did the tow in with the string method, it worked excellent really feels great. You can let your hands off the steering wheel that goes straight down the road so amen and hallelujah.
