Hey, I have a 86 crewcab with a th400 that I recently purchased a Hughes fuel miser torque converter for. Has anyone had any experience with them? It boasts dropping rpm and temperature, as well as increasing mpg a lot. It has phenomenal reviews. Anyone use it?

It Hughes, I would expect quality.

I wouldn’t expect miracles, but I would bet it performs exactly as advertised.

Haven't tried the fuel miser, but I am running their XTM heavy duty series (GM5XTM-1) with a 1500 rpm stall and am pleased with it.
