Cool rides! :waytogo: Wasn't the original Fall Guy truck round eye style headlights? I looked at several pics on google and see some round and some square headlight versions.

You're not wrong, but i am right too.

in the pilot and sometimes in the show, its a 1980 gmc high sierra 25 with tan interior, an the gmc emblem at the center of the tailgate.
then they use a 1982 sierra grande 2500 with dual rectangle headlights (like mine) with a black inetrior and the gmc emblem on the left of the tailgate.
in the 4 or 5 th season they use a sierra classic, and sometime they have a lifted 2WD truck dor fast pursuit.

mine 'll be based on the most used in the show, the sierra grande 2500, black intérior. the final gall is to put a ls1, with an awd transfer case.

Bucket, as i am slow i think i am good for 4/5 year on this conversion job but, in the back of my head, the is always a general lee dream, but i don't think i'll realise it.
i could replace the white "peugeot Boxer" with hey inside on the picture, by a red/black gmc vandura, but it is smaller an a far more expensive.

Yep, an 82 4 square headlight truck is the main truck. Many many versons were used as stunt doubles for different scenes. They even finally got smart, after destroying so many trucks in season 1 and 2, I think it was season 3 they finally built a special truck for the jump scenes and it entailed a mid engine. The engine was just about right next to the driver. This did better for the weight, and with beefed up front suspension, tore out alot less axles, and the more I think about it, the jump truck may have also been a lifted 2wd.

That's an early on in the show article. Cuz there was a bunch more than 4 trucks, and the mid engine truck isn't talked about. I'd have to find that article I read now.

The article doesn't mention the secret compartment either.

I think they only have Season 1 on DVD (that's all I do through Netflix). I watched them some time ago, and about to start going through them again.
