any idea what couldve caused it?
I have seen that when I worked at a GM dealer on thansmissions in the '60s and '70s and the consensis was weak metal.. factory says that's why the call it a flex plate because it flexes when going from neutral to driv or to reverse. so they said it was metal fatigue. Not real common but still happens once in a while
