Fluctuating oil pressure

You haven't said if you found the problem, but years ago on my
Van with a 350 eng, my situation was very similar. It started
Using oil and nobody seemed to know why. I pulled valve covers and found oil drain back holes in back of heads were partially plugged.It was allowing backed up oil to leak down valve guides. Unplugged holes and problem solved. Almost forgot, it was also starting to run crappy because plugs were being coated with oil.

I haven't gotten around to toying with the truck at all. Will probably look at it today if I get all of the things on my hunny-do list done
