ACD makes a RapidFire plug. I put them in my BBC Chevelle and I'm sold! I don't know about splitting the fire, but shooting it rapidly seems to have some benefit. :rockit:

Can you guarantee that? Cause im getting around 6 right now and anything would help.

Ant BTW, the 2.8's in the s-10s were a dead horse.

I don't know the fancy science explanation behind it, but I'd assume a basic plug fires like this :gr_guns: and the Rapid Fires like this :biggun:

I have a question, The distributor connects 1 time for every round. It makes 1 surge to light a plug. The plug lights 1 time from the surge. Next cycle. How does a RAPIDFIRE plug make multiple arcs when its only powered 1 time.

The spark plugs with multiple fingers to arc to are wastes of money.

Rapidfire is just a name, with stock ignition the plug fires once every two revolutions of the crankshaft. There are capacitave discharge boxes that will fire the spark plug multiple time up to a certain rpm.

Pretty stupid to have it sparking during the exhaust-compression stages. An early detention is not good for an engine.
