Evaporator line coming out of a/c box

1985 C 10. I have to replace the insulation that goes around the a/c box holes where the a/c lines come out of the box. Does anyone know what material is used to seal these two holes and where to buy it?

It appears to be the same material used to seal the cowling. You can get tubes of Cowl Seam Sealer from Amazon for around $15.

I believe that stuff would work, but I'm pretty sure the factory used "strip caulk" 3m makes it, its like a putty almost like sticky tack. But it comes in little strips and stays pliable through its life.
