Caddy 472:
would it fit? would be pretty tempting if i could find one for cheap in running order! this is hypothetical, but would be freaking awesome if you ask me!

olds 350:
would fit for sure, need adapter plate for transmission. my friend happens to have one laying around. he also has the olds 350 diesel, but he said that will cost me $$$$$

my current 305 is pretty strong for what it is and the age (unknown rebuild too) but it is fun to dream of the possiblities. I need exhaust (completed rusted out) so if i were to go another route, now would also be the time to plan it. I think it would be unique to have a truck with one of these options.

Both of those have been done. I don't know what is involved in bolting them into a K10, but I do know they fit.

Anchor.

Apparently they are a strong foundation to build a gas motor.
