Any vendors to steer clear of when shopping for spindles? This is a precision made part (or it should be!) and I hesitate to shop by price.

With that said, I also don't want to throw good money away just to say I have "brand x" spindles.

Thanks,

These are the good brands that I would recommend. The best price on the list below are CPP that I ordered from Summit, i think they were $229 with free shipping. Personally I would stay away from the Chinese junk on fleabay.

McGaughys
Belltech
DJM
Western Chassis

90% of all spindles are mfg. In China. Belltech, DJM, and Air Bag it (Aim Industries)...all Chinese made. Western Chassis..also a Chinese made product. Most all rotors are also made in China. Check the warranty and best of luck.

Some spindles move the wheel out, some in.
Personally I avoid the use of drop spindles if possible. I just took some 2 inch spindles OFF of a truck and cut a coil from the springs instead. I like the idea of "body dropping" rather than "suspension lowering".

Ever poked a hole in an oil pan?

PLUS the ghetto drop spindles made the front wheels track even FARTHER apart.
The LMC spindles claim to move them 3/4 of inch inboard.
I've heard about clearance issues on 15s...
