My best tip is don't! Get kick panel pods and put speakers in those rather than hacking up your doors.

I agree with Old77! I let a audio guy cut mine and it doesn't really work. Very small space in any door and very little depth. So I would use pods you can mount and maybe a box for some bass. I do have an amp under the seat which really helps the output.
