The doors on my 86 fit pretty flush except for the lower rear corner of the driver's door. It sticks out from the sill may 1/4-3/8"
An old motorhead told me he's adjusted many doors in his past by inserting a short length of 2 X 4 between the jamb and the door and then applying pressure against the part of the door sticking out....essentially warping it slightly.
Sounds extreme to me......does anybody know of this method?
Is the sheet metal so thin that it'll easily warp a bit?
