Very little work gets done at home, this is the most shallow "2-car" garage I've ever seen. Plus the house is only 1200sq ft, so we have lots of junk stored in here. If it weren't for all the junk on the right side of this picture, the C10 will fit on the RH side of the garage straight in. But nothing bigger than a Mini could fit on the LH side because the water heater and washer/dryer are on the back wall there.
Since we're not married and it's technically the GF's house, plus she has the newest/most valuable/most expensive vehicle in the fleet, she gets the garage. We agree that I can park the C10 in it when I drive it home just cuz my insurance demands indoor storage but I can't take up the garage for long term projects. Both her '21 F150 CC and my '05 Z71 CC have to park at a 45* to fit, even with nothing in the way lol

When there are small projects to be done, the vehicle ends up at least part way outside. It also doesn't help that there's a downward slope starting 1' inside the garage, so it's not dead level either.

Thankfully they allow me to store and work on my junk at work, since it's a vehicle we sell parts for and we use it for R&D/test fitting all the time. It's mutually beneficial for the company as well since I have all my tools here, we can get alot more done without them having to shell out thousands of dollars for tools. I essentially have 1 permanent spot in our ~40k sqft R&D center, access to our main lift and they also allow me some space in the racking for storing stuff. Having to drive an hour each way on the weekends to get stuff done kinda sucks, but better than not having anything. Someday when we move closer to AMD, I hope to build a ~40x50 shop in the back yard. Being able to work on stuff at home would make it much more enjoyable
