Just go to the store and buy a damn chicken and work on the truck !!! Or kill a damn possum and eat it. Everthing tastes like chicken so it must be real close to turkey too. :suicide:

Yes, I'm aware. It's even more thrilling when you actually get one. And many think Turkey hunting is easy. No, it's not. You just about have to be a sneaky bastard and sneak up on them in close range, or get lucky enough, have one walk up on you. It's a different hunt than the normal "hunting".

Just a thought, cut the corners off, you'll be able to cover them with the glass mat, and you will get the corners slightlyrounded for a more finished look.

I like this idea! :hmm: I really hope this project picks up steam again. I'm interested to see how it turns out and if it's easily duplicated.

Unfortiontly starting over, I havent gotten to do squat on it, BUT I did get the A/C installed in the truck so it should go smoother now. But Im seriously contemplating just have a piece of sheet metal broke and weld the 1 seem and plug the ends. then dip the entire console in a carbon fiber hydro graphics. BUT its gonna have to be prolonged im wayyyyyyyyyy to busy right now to get to spend any time working on it.

Awesome, so you did get the AC handled??? I've been wondering if you were gonna show up here. With shipping that stuff to you, UPS was out due to size of cartons and the cost for oversize. We'd have to packaged it all and strap it to a pallet for freight and even then wasn't all that cheap. Like $80 for a small pallet. I just figured for that kinda of ****, we'd go with the idea of driving the Blazer. I'm not needing an NP205 now either. I now have one although its with a Th350 and I may as well stick with the autos since they are so common and cheap to build. Obviously it's not meant to be for me to have a Manual trans as bad as I want one. Probably don't need it anyway with as bad as my back is. I just figured as many trucks as I have, if I'm having that bad of a day, I won't drive the SM465 truck and take one of the autos.

unless we get some GOOD rain in the next week ide say there wont be much of any crops this year, some of the corn is already tastled and there are no ears on it, and beans is even worse

yea i got it all, still working on trying to get an electric fan to replace the fan clutch **** which should drastically help the A/C at Idle. Then gotta figure the cruise control out.
