I'm looking to re-dye some of my interior parts. The factory colors are getting painfully faded and are starting to look pretty nasty. I'd like to use SEM color coat, but have no friggen clue which color to use. Pics below of my interior (this was from before I bought it. Slight differences now but 99% the same). It should be tan with a few white-ish pieces. Any help with color identification would be much appreciated!

My color chart for SEM is several years old now, but there's no exact match for the tan. If you are recoating all of it, then it won't really matter.

Yep....no SEM match. On my burb I just recoated the tan with another color of Tan from SEM that I liked and it turned out nice. Just gotta make sure you prep it really well and SEM works great.

Dammit. I was hoping for an exact match. I only planned to do a few pieces at a time. Some parts look fine while others need the dye. Bugger...

What about the "Saddle" color that LMC sells. Every used that?

Since your on the subject, what is the best place to get quality dye? Never done dye before and was looking at items like my arm rest pads that I bought since they are not the exact blue my interior was stock.

I'm not sure where the best place to get dye is, but from what I have read SEM is the only way to go. My local Napa sells some SEM products but I haven't been in there in over a year so I'm not sure what the selection is like.

Online is always an option, you just can't look at colors side by side for comparison.

SEM is the best IMO. You can get it numerous places whether it be online, local paint shops or some auto parts stores. There are a ton of different colors that they offer.

But none are an exact match for factory tan...

I've been comparing the SEM color chart to pics of my interior, and I'm leaning towards the 15093 Buckskin color. See below:

I have a massive library of saved images of other trucks and thought this was an interesting look too. Found on a beautiful 86. This truck is probably the best/nicest truck I have ever seen. Probably won't go this dark, but it is a nice look. Interesting. You can see that the upper pieces above the dash are the lighter color. Just like mine.

Here you go with even a good before/after comparison

Interesting. Is it just me or does the original pic look like it's yellowed? Even your paint looks more yellow. Is that what it actually looked like, or was the camera playing tricks?

The new color looks nice, but I'm thinking it would be nice with a bit more yellow to it. Hmm.

The before pic is due to poor lighting in my parking garage at work LOL

Ah ok, that's what I was thinking. It looks like the Buckskin is closer to the paint color of your burb, based on the pic in your signature. Looks good.

I'm definitely thinking more yellow in my application though. Maybe one step up to 15323 Palomino. I'm thinking it will look nicer against the tan/bronze of the truck.

Did you use the same color on all your panels, or did you do different colors like GM did? I've noticed that all "above the window line" pieces are closer to white (including B pillar panels) and I'm debating whether to keep that or go all the same. More modern vehicles tend to have all the same color so I'm leaning that direction right now.
