i think it would be cool if they made that were you can run it in 12v source that way in the morning maybe turn the switch on wait like 30 min and turn it back off and be set im sure its possible

I guess you could hook up an inverter but that thing sucks a lot of juice. When I plug it into the 110 there is a good zap. You can actually reach down and grab the heater and feel it hum.

I wonder if a glow plug or 2 could be jerry rigged int he head or block threaded bosses?

I'm not so sure I'd want to use anything 12v as a heating source. Heating elements use alot of juice and amps. Just seems to be a fire and at least a dead battery waiting to happen.

I agree, I been searching hard for answers him the past hour, everything I find says it's a bad idea if you can even get it to work.

They say after you convert the watts to amps these heaters pull over half the power a cranking starter does. :wtf:
