I'm looking for a good, rebuild-able 1984 Rochester Q-jet carburetor. Serial number must read 17084??? and have the electric choke option. If you have one that you would be willing to part with, send a couple of pictures, price with shipping and payment method. Thanks.

I don't know if this helps you or not but there is a Quadrajet builder in Arizona that has an incredible reputation and only does Quadrajets. He has tons of cores but I don't know if he'd sell just a core or only a complete rebuilt one.

I rebuilt an ‘85 Quadrajet from a K20 and then bought an electric choke kit for it. Simple to install the electric choke if you follow the directions closely.

I have 6 Q-jets in the cabinet in my shop, I'll look..
