I have an 86 K-20 and was going to install Nerf bars when discovered the cab mounts were rusted away, tried taken out and yepper, they snapped. :-(
So now trying to get them out I was told to go through floor, any other ways of doing it? Also all the bushing kits just have bushings, no bolts. Any idea what size bolt they take? Where can I get sets without breaking the bank?

Thanks for any help.

I just replaced my worn out rubber cab bushings and bolts with new poly bushings and grade 8 bolts on my 74 K10. Original bolts were all bent pretty bad.

Bolts I used were 1/2" - 13. Believe I used a 4" grade 8 bolt for the front of the cab. Rears were supplied for the kit I purchased.

Just measured the original bolts:

Front cab mount bolt length (shaft & threads only): 4"
Rear cab mount bolt length (shaft & threads only): 6-3/4"

I bought my polyurethane bushing kit from Classic Parts. It was about $80 for the kit. Came with bushings, washers, and new bolts for the rear cab mounts.
