Are your rear two not needing replaced also? If they're original I'd just replace all four at once

Acutally I just found a kit from energy suspension for 79 for all four.

Unless I can find them cheaper

Is it hard to do?

No, not hard. Just gotta lift up the cab once you have the bolts out. Take bolts out of cab mounts, lift up cab (probably with a jack and piece of wood), replace mounts, let cab back down, bolt them back in.

Don't need to lift it up far. I'd do the rear two first and then the front but I'm pretty sure you can do it in any order that you want.

Depends how badly rusted stuff is. Try looking on LMC Truck, I think they sell them by the piece.

Why are yours needing replaced Mark? Now don't buy those ones for the 79 or did you mean $79??? There is a difference in the year models 73-80 and then 81 up. I know on cab swaps you want to buy the ones that fit the frame right? And yes bushings are differant than the mounts. I thought I was gonna off cheap for a lift kit on my K1500 since the bushings looked rough. But now, even buying the lift kit, I'd have to buy bushings too. So not doing the body lift.

hmmmmm, I know I have a couple mounts off an 81, just that I am not so sure where they are now. I sold a cab and frame seperate and kept the mounts and bushings. If I come up an idea of where they might be in the next couple of days and find them, I'll send them your way. This truck sat nice, its just that the PO took the front clip and steering column, so enough was missing and with no title, it wasn't worth putting back together.

No problem, if you aren't in any extreme hurry. With all the snow on the ground, and working all day today, and more snow on the way, it might take me a day or 2 or 3 to track them down.
