Hotrod your only 800 miles from me according to the map. It's a 13 hr drive which means I cold be out there in a night of driving. Might be willing to try it a time or two if you can find some decent stuff priced right.

Or, if I ever got a trailer, I'm sure you've got some K30 type goodies I can put to work and maybe make some trades. We could possibly meet 6.5 hours away each so everyone gets back home safely all in the same day.

might not work out to bad if we could all figure out how to make the network work on this. I'm sure bucket has a way to market some rust free parts to, and I get calls daily for beds and cabs.

I've got a 25' gooseneck and a 48' wedge trailer setting behind the barn. always figured if I found a good place west to deal with I could run out and get 2 squares and a car, preferably without drivelines and haul them back

I got a few locals that might be interested. Joe how clean are those dually beds? I got a guy practically begging me for one. The one on the C30 I have is not all that clean. Any idea what youd have to have for the cleanest one?

my dually beds are usable, but nothing I'd write home about. about all them have broken fenders. I have one fairly solid, but has damage behind on rear wheel

I know of a guy, well knew his wife, til she passed away, but her husband and her lived in TX. Her dad and family lived in KS. Each of them, her husband and her dad, bought big gooseneck trailers to carry trailers. They'd buy trailers in all shapes and sizes direct from the manufactuers in TX, and dad would do the same with some different brands, features, and price points. About every other month, They'd meet in OKC and swap loaded gooseneck trailers and go back home. Sometimes they'd swap loads of trailers, including the towed trailer being a new one but stacked with more open trailers with wheels off. This way they didn't have to swap their loads, they just swapped the whole load.

Each of them ran a trailer sales lots from little 4x8 single axle open trailers to special order enclosed race car trailers. This way they both had better selections than the other local trailer sales lots. I'd usually meet up with them about every 4 months when they'd stay in OKC overnight.

But yeah, it would be nice if we could swap some parts like that. We have to swap our loads though.

problem is that K30's are almost impossible to find around here. almost all the chevys around here have done rusted away and been scrapped. I have collected my trucks over last 20 years. I do have a few turbo 400's 2wd laying around, few 3/4 ton axles, ect....

K30's just aren't popular around here. Almost like they're extinct. Especially SRW. I'd love to have a K30 SRW. If you do find one, someone has most likely swiped the D60 front and put a D44 or 10 bolt up front. :flipthebird: What's the use after that?
