c20 frame help

I have a c20 frame for a project, do they make a kit to fix this rust at the driver side rear leaf springs and what is that thing coming from the gas tank? is that the cause of the rust? both sides for comparison

You will need to cut out the rusty spots and section in good pieces of donor frame.

Not sure about those tank drain fittings. They look factory-installed, but I've never seen such a thing. Was this frame originally under a motor home pickup?

The drains come on the diesel trucks.

My truck had rust on one side of the frame there.
LMC has both the outer & inner spring perches, the frame can be repaired there when they're out of the way.

My 82 has them & all the D30 CUCV that I've had were the same. I haven't seen the drain valve on gas trucks.

Well I'll be damned. Never noticed them before. I don't remember seeing them on my buddy's '89 R3500 that I had here for a while.
