C10 lifted 4.5” max tire size

See attached photo, I know lifting a C10 isn’t common but I was able to order 4.5” direct replacement lift spindles so they make em for someone……Anyways, I put 32x11.5x15’s on it and I don’t hate it, but still a lot of free space in the wheel well so left with a blah outcome to some degree. Anyone ever lifted a C10 4.5 inches and have tire experience. I’m certain 33x12.5’s would fit but if 35’s or maybe 36’s would fill the wells better, let me know. Already swapped the stock 3.08 to 3.73.

I would suggest having someone turn the wheel while you look at the tire vs fender clearance. You can measure to see how much clearance you have past that tire size. I'd be willing to bet you can't go much bigger than that without hitting the fender or inner fender though.

If C trucks have the front axle centered better front to back than K trucks, then I could see 35s possibly fitting, barely. That said I don’t like the stuffed big tire look and would stick with what you have. Looks perfectly proportional right now. But it’s not my truck…
But like huck said, easiest way is turn wheels measure clearance, compare your tire size to larger size/differ to offset wheels, whatever.

I agree with Grit Dog that it looks perfectly proportional the way it sits. It almost looks like a factory K20 height, or a little taller. Keep the 32's. 33's could look good, but wouldn't be worth swapping. 35's would look large IMO.

I also think it looks great as it is. But, 33's should clear just fine, on the stock wheels.

I honestly did not know there was such a thing. I've seen 2wd GMT-400 and newer trucks lifted plenty of times, so I know parts exist for them. Aside from OP's truck, a lifted 2wd square is not something I've ever seen in much detail.

The truck looks proportional right now, though I'd find out what the gear ratio is before I'd go changing tire sizes. If you are keeping a 3.73, I'd suggest keeping 32s or 33s on it. If you want to switch to a low gear like a 4.10, go up to 35s. If you don't care about power or fuel economy, use whatever you like that has the right clearance.

I have a 1986 c10 that I want to lift. WHERE can I find 2wd lift spindles???? I have looked everywhere and can't find them. I have found 1988 and up but NOTHING for 73-87.

Lots of 2wd s10 lift kits available. Just Google it. I put screenshots of another guys 2wd lifted 76 c10 he listed everything needed ^^^^^^^^
