They've probably been swapped out at one time or another. But, OEM all K30's should have NP205 regardless of Auto or Manual. According to my info chart anyway.

Nope, '77-'79 K30s with an auto trans got the 203. I don't like it, but that's what they did. If it's got an auto and a 205 ('77-'79), it was swapped.

Good deal for someone who wanted to make a doubler out of it. I'd be all for a doubler it the adapter to the NP205 wasn't so friggin expensive, then I'd twin stick my NP205 and have a Triple Shift bullet proof gear driven Tcase with 2 Lows, and mega options, Like 3 different speeds in 2 wheel drive even and 3 in 4wd.
