True, you could do that, but I sure wouldn't daily drive it. I've driven 12.80 1/4 mile as daily driver before but it ran hot all the time and got about 5.5 mpg.

Wouldn't doubt if its a 118 burner or takes a 50/50... could run high test if you like your car sounding like a popcorn machine :happy175:

Dads HS car was a 72 Chevelle that ran on 130octane and it was in the high 9s. And he drove it daily. And it didnt get hot.

It Also averaged 8.

Eh, things don't have to be that way. I've got a car capable of times around in there (real close actually) and I used to daily drive it in the summer months. It runs cool and can get mid to upper 20s on the highway, and around 18 mpg around town. Even has working AC.
