I bought this Th400 Core today. Cost me $10.80 in gas to go pick it up. Still a good deal !!! And its a threaded output shaft, so it can be used in Squarebodies.

Ran the #'s, its out of what he said it was, 75 C10 with 454. So it was the factory original transmission out of his truck. He said he lost forward gears and only had reverse, so that means the forward clutch pack wore out. Direct Clutch pack and Low/Reverse pack still good if he had reverse. The good thing is, probably just wore out and needs seals and clutches and no broken hard parts. Not a bad deal for $25 + $10.80 in gas. I'd buy'em all day long for that.
