I’m almost finished with my LS swap 5.3/4L 60 E/NP 241.. on the Internet there’s several videos, stating how to wire your bulkhead into the existing harness… But my bulkhead harness has a wire missing..The first picture is my wiring harness. The second one is one that’s floating around on the Internet… What do I do about that missing wire?

Looks like it used to be there….

It is not uncommon for the power leads coming into the bulkhead to burn up where they connect to the fuse box. The spade terminal or receptacle basically melt out.

How’s about a picture of the other side of the plug showing the pins and a picture of where it plugs in at the firewall. And an overall picture of that side of your firewall

I wonder if it has burnt up and been repaired in one of several different ways.

When I did my LS Swap in the 73, this is what my bulkhead connection looked like. I cut out the wires I didn't need, just left them long enough to reconnect if ever needed.

The wires you tape, what went where? Thick orange for the fuel pump, maroonish/red for starter, and then you have 2 wires taped, what are those for? Thank you!!!

If I remember right, I didn't use them. I'll go out and look.
