Bolt TQ ?'s

Why would it matter how many miles the bearing ran? Just curious? :shrug:

I'm just concerned for worn bearing since they werent torqued to the right spec and ran with it being like that. I would consider replacing them and not chancing it either.

I would recheck the clearances, just to be safe. If the torque was off it may have too mush bearing crush and create an issue.

That is exactly why he broke it down, so he could visually check the condition of the bearings. If they were bad, he woudln't be using the motor. And mileage don't mean jack. I've seen 80,000K motors look like new, and I've seen 50,000K motors down to the babbit.

As cheap as platiguage is, that's a great idea.

I think they'll be ok. The pattern on em looks good. None of them are gold so they will be alright.
