I am building a 383 stroker and my rod clearnce is between .001 and .0015 when I used the green plastigauge. The rods, crank, and bearings are all new. The last engine i build was at .002 and ran awsome. I have been told that I need to be at .002 and others said .0015 is fine. I just don't want to spin a bearing. Thanks for any help.
