The motor in the suburban is shot, all I have to do is motor mount bolts torque converter and trans bolts then it's out. Then I'm gonna have to make it into a bunch of smaller pieces.

So if anyone wants a bunch of pictures of me tearing down a small block, I could do a write up somewhat also!

I don't know if there is any threads on a full tear down and rebuild. So rock on with it. Im sure somebody who doesn't have much experience will find it useful to see how they work inside.

I would consider it but I definitely don't have a setup to do that haha. camera, tripod of some sort, lighting, and video editing, sorry to say but I don't think that'll happen! But I can get a picture of every step and give some tips ive learned

ive torn down way too many to count, I can usually do it in under an hour from start to finish if I have all my tools ready and learned the good ways to do some stuff and the not so good ways haha

What? An hour? You genius. It took me an hour to remove the air intake from my 98 k1500...

A tear down thread would be great! I'll be needing to break down my small block and I have 0 experience with it.

An hour to tear the motor down, not to pull it or anything like that haha

If it helps at least one person out ill do it! Once it quits raining for more than an hour ill get my motor out and start taking it apart.

Here you guys go. I thought you might like this. These guys are good. It only took them less than 5 minutes to tear one down and rebuild it!:)
