For some reason this looks pale yellow, but interior pain looks tan, so I bought matte desert tan vinyl wrap. Was curious if anyone had wrapped their rigs.

I recently purchased cherry wood grain wrap intended for the interior and possibly the exterior moldings. I haven’t installed it so I can’t tell you if it is a success or failure.

What kind of vinyl do you want to use? The car vinyl needs a smooth surface. It does not stick well on rust, primer etc. Would be a pity if it comes off or starts to bubble after 3 weeks.

Interesting. Would it see service as a truck after the wrap? I wonder how tough wrap is compared to the usual life of a square?

I won't be using it as a work truck, but It will have a 5th wheel hitch back there. I'm putting in bed liner in that area. I'm still watching videos on it, but I'll get the wrap in next week and hope to do it next weekend.

It does need a smooth surface, but from what I read it sticks fine on primer as long as you have removed all the dust. We shall see.

Employed wrap in strategic areas on a tri five. I would think the square bodies would be easier as there are minimal compound curves.
Nice. It seems like it would be pretty straight forward, but I wonder about the corner of the bed above the brake lights.

A talented wrapper can manage very intricate convolutes.
I’m not in that category, but managed to do pretty decent on the tight radius of trim. The center piece is a chrome wrap on copper fab.

I didn’t wrap my 90 Suburban 1500 but I did Raptor Line it. Check out pics.
This is what I'm doing with my 90 Suburban as well! Mine is an off road mainly truck so It made sense to me.
I got the idea from some rock crawler friends and also my friend had a T-Mobile store and he had an H1 truck for advertisement and it was one of the 1st vehicles in Phx with it full Rhino lined instead of paint.
Also the black with the white walls looks great!
