Anyone know what this bracket is for?

Been sorting loose parts and came across about 8-10 brackets I didn't recognize. Figured them all out but one. My guess is something with the radiator support but cant find any pre-demolition pics with it in place. Any idea?

That might be it.

The gage of the steel looks like it goes on the frame to hold something like an exhaust hanger of sorts, or a tank strap.

And the holes look specific not universal.

I also suspected something for emissions? This was a left coast truck and had plenty on it.

I took 1500+ pics of this truck pre-demolition for just such an emergency and cant find it in any - but the emission junk was pulled long before that.

Can't tell the size from the picture. Some trucks had a vacuum switch mounted on the valve cover. The harness and switch had a clip that mounted on a bracket like that.

My Plan B is to just toss it. Then guarantee within a day, I'll need it and know what it was for.

It wouldn't work. Rules are I would have to lose complete access to it before its true purpose revealed. These things just know.

Well, if you screwed it to a wall, you could hang things on it like coats, shirts, "satchels", leashes, unmentionables, etc.
