Hi there from the east coast of Ohio. I'm building up this 80 C10 that my dad bought new and I drove home from the dealer. It's only got 64k on the clock and was repainted about 20 years ago.
There's a 400 short block on the engine stand in my basement that will be treated to aluminum heads, new cam, and a Performer RPM intake. Last summer I treated it to a 3.73 posi. The 305 is so weak it barely helped acceleration.
There will probably be a 700R4 behind the 400 then it's off to better brakes and bigger wheels.
