well hell.....thats a good idea lol. Let us know what you find out. If anything take a crap one from the junk yard and try it yourself before you try it on the good one.

Cerakote sells a ceramic coating designed for heat transfer, they market it for radiators and intercoolers. Not as cool as anodized stuff but more likely to be capable at home

Just trying to avoid the crappy flaking paint after you paint. Didn't know if it was done or a even a good idea...
