I picked up this 78 stepside to use as a plow / yard truck for 800.00 and I was able to drive it home for that price. Now that I have had it for a while it has grown on me to the point that I want to bring it back from the almost dead and use it for a sometime DD or back up vehicle along with the yard and plowing duties.

hopefully my search foo will be good enough to keep from asking the redundant questions that have been answered a million times.

Nice looking truck- especially for the price.

And it never hurts to ask about things- true there is a search feature and can find some info, but someone might have just done whatever you are asking about and it is still fresh in their mind.

I drove my '77 for 4 years or so before getting bit by the "mod bug". This forum has helped out a ton- both in me asking questions and searching.
