Drop the all caps, it's Friday... just sayin'
He is only stating that one needs to post 50 posts minimum before one can sell stuff on this forum. The "seller" may have been around other forums a long time, but we do have rules here, and we also have a pattern in the last year or so where newbs post trucks, etc for sale in their first post. If the rules aren't followed or enforced then we have a free for all. I'm not a moderator, but I definitely want some law and order around here.

Nothing was stated. He dropped down from the rafters to post an accusatory question followed up by an equally aggressive statment. Those of us who were alive and driving these trucks when they were new need to remember how we were brought up and not become the "get of my lawn" crowd. People come here to socialize and learn about a common interest. People should Let the moderators do their thing and leave the "hall monitoring" to them.
I aggree with having rules, using friendly reminders goes a long way...

I have no problem following the rules. I'm a rule follower from way back. I mostly do repairs anyway and typically people reach out to me. In the past few years I've fixed a lot of GM2700 radios which fit most square bodies and I own one so I figured I better join up and see what's happening in the square body radio world. My radios are for sale on alot of different formats and I've been selling them since 2002.I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. Peace. Only 41 posts to go.

What you offer is great! It's good to have radio repair as an option especially for those wanting to keep an original unit in their rig, but maybe have some extra goodies included. Keep posting, 50 comes quickly.

Yes, I’ve fixed a lot of those. Typical issues are leaky power supply caps and bad pre amp or output stage transistors. Most were found in mid 60s early 70s passenger cars. If the spring module is broken or one or both of the springs are disconnected it’s not too likely to work again unless you have a donor. That part is quite difficult to find. If you ship one make sure to pack it really good as the spring module is quite fragile and can easily break rendering it useless. Nice unit though and when refreshed they really sound good. Nice looking radio’s too. Delco got it right with those radios. Great components inside and designed well.

@j69shep Jim, the spring looks good. Big issue is when I pulled it from the car going to scrap, I did not know I needed to pull the dash control too. I saw a dash control at a car show, but it must have been made of gold! I think the dash control had 2 knobs. Would one be on/off volume? The other delay control?

Any ideas on what is needed to power this unit up?

This looks like a delco reverb. There should be a 3 pin plug on one end. Signal input is the top pin, audio out is the middle, and 12 volts is on the bottom. Let me know if you need any help. Signal in comes from your radio and signal out goes to your speaker

I get better pictures of mine. It has a 4, round pin plug.

Is this what GM called the multiplex stereo or something like that?
