I have an 86 K10 with original 305. Engine is in original configuration minus the smog pump and I installed headers. Question is.... is anything to be gained by removing any of the hard plastic lines that snake around the top of the engine. We do not have smog checks here. It's all in perfect condition and engine runs flawlessly. Is it worth messing with? Thanks

Replace them all with regular vacuum hoses. The plastic ones will crack and create vacuum leaks that will pose a serious headache risk.
