to my 79 K5. 5K factory tach. Bought the p.c. circuit for a tach unit along with the gauge backing plate (blue unit).
Wired up the tach harness, works like a champ.
Bought the gauge unit from ebay as not working. Got lucky lol. Now I also have an accurate fuel gauge! Pic of me testing the tach...

I have a "surprise"... I bought a tranny (the mechanical kind lol) in Denver from another internet buddy. Gotta make a trip to go get it.
