i guess i should have payed closer attention to the body lines before i started hackin and slashin. now my patches are welded in, pooped in, i have a string from front to back across the upper/mid body line and i have a 3/16'' crown going inward is this normal? ill post pictures tonight, it can barely be noticed, but i know its there, just curious to see what you guys have found any input is greatly appreciated, thank you!

Doesn't look too bad. I've never measured, but I would guess a factory bedside is crowned outward 1/4 to 3/8 inch. I don't have one around here to compare with, just an 8 ft dually bed and a shortbed. But now I'm curious how much they crown.

i figured they would crown outward, theres no way i could build up that much mud and still keep that body line looking straight. still fine tuning it, im getting frustrated tho. lmc lost the supplier for 8' sides and brothers is a little high on shipping

I plan on eventually getting all new pieces for mine
Outsides aren't rusted but it's starting to get bad on the inside
