Were you able to hear this one run?
No, but the guys who run this yard, I knew them a long time and they went to school with my Dad, they never did me wrong. So far....

Did you get warranty with it. If not it was little high at that price. IMO
These are very hard to come by around here and this is the going price in this area. All the yards Iv'e talked to and any motors that pop up on CL are all in the same ball park, and that's for a srtipped motor. 90 day warranty, lol. I am content what I am paying and what I am getting in return, I just want to get this ******** overwith and start rebuild the original motor.

So you'll swap motors twice??
Yes, I am a glutten for punishment. :roflbow:

But I'll run the used one until that head gasket blows and then I'll have a nice sexy fresh motor to put back in. :waytogo:

As you can see the exhaust manifolds on the donor motor will not work on my truck. They flare out to far in the back and the drivers side outlet is in a different position. So I will look for another pair in good shape that will work or I'll have to refurbish the POS's I have on the current motor.

why not just unbolt the manifolds that are on your current motor and slide the motor in without the manifolds and slight the "new" motor in and just bolt up the original manifolds? Are they really fubared or something? I don't remember....
