87 vs 89 suburban seat mounting

I have an 87 Suburban with absolutely junk bucket seats. I found a very nice set of 89 buckets and I know the upholstery is different but will the seats mount the same? Thank you.

I'm 99.9% sure that it's a direct swap. Memory is foggy. We had a couple seat threads here many years ago with pictures and mounting types.

Just knowing the timeframe in the vehicle lifecycle I would be 99.8% sure they are the same.

I can't imagine we changed anything significant regarding seats at that point.
