As title says recently bought a 1987 shortbed c10 project, motor(lo3) and transmission are missing.i recently bought a 1993 roadmaster with a l05 and 700r4.my questions is will motor run with exsisting 87 harness?the 93 has quite a few more sensors but iam assuming its not needed for truck to run new motor. Also the 87 had no od as theres only D21 on my selector. whats needed in making the pcm control the 93 700r4 locking up and what not. the Bbody 700r4 has 2 plugs one for iam guessing the vss in the tailshaft and a 4 prong sensor in the base of transmission.Thanks for any help on the subject!.
