Sadly, when active men retire from work and sit around idle all day, they soon die.

I'd dance at your wedding if you did. Alternately, I have beer and some other foreign alcohol.

I will see when she is available and let you know. I know Mother's day is next weekend so she might be busy (I'd sort of adopted Abby a couple of years ago, hah. Super bright kid and wants to learn everything squarebody). She's excited to meet Maureen.

i'm going to guess that you need new injectors, but really we should do an organized, systematic way to diagnose and fix the problem.

Sorry for being MIA - been traveling a lot for work.

I fired her up this morning to continue troubleshooting, and she ran like a champ. I drove her around the neighborhood for about 15 minutes, stopping anytime I could, and she refused to die. I got nothing.

The missing hoses (two ports at the pump and one on the air cleaner) in the last photo are for emissions. AKA smog pump. I would not worry about that at this point, nor the plastic intake hose, nor the pre heater hose that runs from the exhaust manifold up to the air cleaner.

I would drive it, look for trouble codes and and read about TBI's. Get a vacuum gauge and watch a couple you tube videos on how to use one. And get familiar with Rockauto.com. haha

Good luck !

you never mentioned if you did the IAC relearn after replacing the battery. Did you mess with the IAC when you cleaned the TBI?
