Ok, first off I really like your guys forum and this is my 5th square body. Its a 86 K20 350/th400 4.10s(GT5) and HD frame(C9P). I scored the truck minus a bed for $150. As for the lift either way I go Im going to get new springs packs. Correct me if Im wrong but the rear shackle flip with give me about 4" plus a 6" spring for a total of 10". Now if I use the DIY4X B52 bracket to run 52" springs in the front that gives me 4" and if I use the same 6" springs up front as I do in the rear wont that give me 10" total in the front too? Or am I just completely off my rocker? The other options is an $700 ebay 6" kit and blocking it. Any help, info, or suggestions id greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your plan for 10 inches sounds about right, but what else do you have plans for? With that much lift and front 52's, you are going to want crossover steering, extended drive shafts, possibly better shock mounts, etc. What size tires do you want to run?

yea I know Im going to have to run a cross over set up, my buddies has some of the parts laying around his shop, trying to get a 2wd steering box locally. I actually found superlift springs for about $180 ea so I think Im going 12" fronts and 8" rear with the shackle flip and retaining stock mount locations. No idea what size tires yet, might use the 40s off my ford for now. Im going to clock the t case too for now.
