Hello All! I have a 83 GMC High Sierra. I was having a problem with the turn signals. When pressing the brake pedal the front marker lights would come on and nothing was blinking. I finally changed out the turn signal switch and then noticed that when the Hazard switch was activated, the markers came on, but were not blinking. I changed the relay on the fuse box and its still doing the same. So, turn signal switch is new, hazard relay is new...what else am I missing?
Thanks!

If your hazards are on and you press the brake all the signal lights will stay solid and not flash. That's how these trucks work.

Ah…well shoot, just learned something new. So another question…should the hazards blink though?

ANY brake pedal application with the hazards on will make ALL of the signal lights stay solid lit, even the dash signals.
