Thanks, fellas!

I'll bookmark that for when I purchase. Being Made in the USA is a nice bonus, too.
Trying to knock out all the work this summer so I can enjoy the fall and mostly "store" (garage) in the winter.

You can get the valve from Pollak. They are probably the original manufacturer. They sell a lot of fuel switching and fuel tank related products for RVs and such.

Also made in the USA.

So the Pollack wait is 4-6 weeks, which I do not have. I just redid the front end of the truck, so I'm finally on to replacing the tanks.

This brand seems to be a pretty good equivalent to OEM, any thoughts? Whats the difference between this and the T-Series?

I think that should be it. Baffled tanks, fuel pump/sender assembly, straps, and some other odds and ends I need around the truck (mirror, door jamb cab light switches, gas caps).

So any other fuel tank parts anyone would recommend while replacing? lol

Thank you so much to everyone. This has been quite the learning experience. I also have to do the PVC door hinge fix, too.

Standard makes pretty decent parts, you probably can't go wrong with either one. I would also replace all the rubber lines between the tank hard lines and the valve. Use Gates Barrier hose 30R9 that's rated for Ethanol. I also like to use smooth stainless steel fuel clamps instead of the spring clamps. Makes maintenance easier and they clamp very well.

So where do I get the filler hose for a 20gal tank? I would like to swap my drivers side to 20gal instead of rotted out 16.

W/o dropping my tank, how do I know if I need a 3 or 2 connection sending unit?

Yeah, I plan to have the lines redone with the 30R9 since I don't want to have to replace them every few years.

This is the tank kit I'm looking at and I just want to verify, this is the correct set up? (The other side kit is the same).

I really appreciate your help as I navigate this. Whoever did the TBI swap half assed it and I'm playing catch up on what needs replacing, so I don't want to order the wrong parts.

Sure thing, always glad to help out. That tank kit looks like just the thing, though I would verify the senders are the same for both sides. I seem to recall they had the fuel outlets pointing differently for each side, making them side specific, but I don't recall for sure.

Looks like they pull up as different part #s and different OEM part #s, which jives with the drivers side and pass. side kits being separate listings.

I'll probably get the hose locally and any other misc. parts/connectors that need to be replaced. Should be ordering soon! Thank you again!

Leaving them. Mine seem to be in good shape. If for some reason there's something wrong with them, I guess I'll replace them, but as of now no reason to.

Filler tubes are different between 16 and 20 gallon tanks. I'll get some pics, I have one of each on my 84, lol

I found mine at the junkyard. You might have to rig something up with generic filler hose. I don't know that there is a direct aftermarket replacement.
