I am having problems with the windshield wipers on my 81 K 10. They will start and run for a few cycles then stop. I can restart them if I push the blades. Is there something hanging up that I can grease to remedy this? I have tried wetting the windshield, but it does not help.

Could be something bound up in the linkage, or it could just be a very weak wiper motor.

mine were binding up cause the guy who painted it never pulled the rags out of the cowl after he put everything back together of course mine was an 87 so I don't know if the setup would be different for yours or not
