My '78 GMC is missing the grill. I found two GMC grills in a salvage yard, but neither is attached to a truck. Both grills are the same style. Is there a part number on the grill somewhere ? From photos on the internet the grills appear to look like the '78 but it could be an '80 too.

If an '80 grill will fit the older truck I'm okay with using that too.

There's a few different part numbers, but '77-'80 grilles all interchange. '75-'76 grilles will also bolt in, but they may or may not have clearance issues IF your truck is equipped with the optional inside hood release.

I found two grills that have minor damage. I can fix either with some glue or maybe fix both of them if I find anorther grill that's broken worse than these. I've seen the GMC grills listed for $150 on the local Craigs List,
