Kinda wishing I took the time to paint the springs
Though will probably do that after I see how it sits under the weight of the car and engine

:D

Spring Compressor??? You Sissy !!! My floor jack is my spring comprssor. :roflbow:

However, I don't recommend it. It can be very dangerous. And in your situation, with no weight on the frame, like the car or the motor, the dangerous jack way wouldn't have worked anyway, since there wouldn't have been enough weight resistance.

You know I'm kidding about the sissy thing. Its actually quite stupid to do it any other way. Altough, in my younger days, before I knew better, I did do it without a compressor. I seen the obvious danger but carefully went for it anyway. I don't even think I'll go into detail how its done that way. But, I do know for a fact, it woudln't have worked for you in that situation as I said, to light. Glad it worked out, and you have another task safely added to your "know how" belt. :waytogo:
