I keep forgetting I own this car and just had to post a picture of it. I got it at the age of 15 from my Dads friend. It had a 2.0 but was disassembled in the trunk. Very strange luck... I found 2 more dodge colts in the same small community my parents live in. Out of the two parts cars one had a spun bearing and the other had antifreeze in the oil. I rebuilt the 1.6 with the spun bearing and converted my car from Auto to a 4 speed manual. I drove it in high school for a while and then it was just a backup car I drove when I was working on my pickup.

That's pretty cool. I like the stripes and the slotted mags on it.

I also think it's funny that you are able to forget about owning a car, lol.

Last time I drove it was 2005 so If I was to clean my fuel system and charge the battery She should run like a new car again. When I quit driving it the thing even had new tires on it haha.

I personally have never saw a dodge Colt on the road, not one of that body style. Including the yellow one I have 4 Dodge Colts.

Some day she will be revived. since I have less than 5k miles on that rebuild I think I will pull the 1.6 out and put it in the complete white one I have, than give the white one some fresh paint and will have a very rare cool little car to drive around.

I could go 2 ways with the orange one, A Japanese drive train or small block chevy.

I would like to fully cage it, put 5 point harness's in it, retrofit some adjustable racing struts in the front and build a 4 link with adjustable coils in the back. The wheels are sweet and old school after market so I would just polish them good.

Some day I will get to make it look the way I always wanted, really low with some white letter race tires stuffed under it. As far as the engine goes... I really like the 4 cylinders with side draft webber carbs and chrome velocity stacks, that **** is awesome. A small block might be a little much for the little car and take away from drive-ability.

SBC would be the only way to go! Why rice it up with a japanese drivetrain? At that point you'd just be driving an older, heavier civic!

I gotz love for rice. That being said, 90% of the **** you see on the street is tacky ******** some punk kid is slapping cheap parts on from Autozone. Just wait until you run into a properly dressed Toyota Supra in real life. I Spotted one in a wal-mart parking lot in Las Cruces and had to just sit and look at it for a while, truly awesome car.

Classic rice is my favorite. Adam Corolla bought a Toyota Corolla race car and was showing it off on some tv show, it was effin sweet man.

Within the next few days I will get some shots of our little junk yard in NM, a couple of the prized cars are 2 toyota "coronas" from the 60's. they are insanely cool looking little cars.

A properly built Supra is pretty darn cool! I'll give you that. Or even the late model RX-7's but I'm just more into the old school muscle and like that rumble of pure muscle under the hood!

If you stick one of those fart pipe exhaust tips on that Colt I'm going to have to come to your house, take the wheels off the Colt and put it up on blocks so that you can't embarrass yourself
