LOL sorry fellas I never got the response updates to this thread until I got Emailded. Well I havnt started on the front yet I will soon this is what it will look like. I will be using tubular control arms top and bottom from Ridetech because the bottom is flat and top offers the most open area. will strip the paint and chrome them. I will remove the old spring and shock set up and rig a coilover. These are sample pics

I have been busy batleing panel alignment and gap issues, originaly they were way out of whak in some areas as far out as 1/2 inch. This has been extremely time consuming but well worth it. This is where Im at now I added material around the doors and cab, and in other areas i had to grind down. I had to beat the Fff out of the doors to get them to be flush with the cab and the cab pillar behind the door was sloted and hamerd in to position. after Im satisfied how things look I will strat the mudding then prime it then finally water sand it and shoot it. Almost there. I will tackle front suspension after I finish this panel and gap fight.

Getting good panel gaps suck because even the factory did a horrible job. There's really no good starting point. Toss in aftermarket panels and you're fighting a losing battle.

Also, what else are you going to do at the top of the door opening? Are you just leaving the lip, or are you adding into the jamb area too?

I will fill the lip and jamb area with either evercoats kitty hair or Euro soft glazing putty, and finishd with Rage Gold. All the hrs necessary will go in to get them dialed in just perfect.

Thanks for the new updates man!!! :) when doing my truck I had a heck of a time with getting the gaps correct and even now they are now 100% but the best I could do. The next phase ofy truck I'll go back and attack them again.

came around to update this thread. I gathered all the front end components still waiting on he steering column and coil overs.
I will post pics of the installed components later when i take some. It does look BadA$$ so low but its driveable.

WOW, Could it be??? Yes it is !!! Look who showed up. Welcome back LS1.

That's is going to be a badazz system. I like it, but I have a feeling, its not a cheap mod. Be sure to take lots of pics so when you get time, we can see that conversion transpire. That ought to be a good one. Thanks for sharing. :High 5:
